"If you've got a lot of time to spare, you can learn the skills and techniques you'll need to effectively market your business on the Internet. Whether this is the best use of your time is for you to decide."

Once you start your research, you'll likely become overwhelmed by the massive number of "internet marketing secrets" out there and you'll either buy into the first shiny thing that looks good or you'll spend hour upon hour researching and exploring, finding more and more different surefire methods, getting more and more confused. If you do buy something, you might find out it's a dead end, or it takes a huge investment in time and energy with no guarantee that it will pay off, or their sales letter failed to mention that you'll have to buy several more surefire products to go along with the one you bought, or it will become obvious after you buy into it that it's not really a good solution for your business. A lot of times, you'll find that the claims made on the sales page are exaggerated or just plain wrong. Many techniques that used to work successfully just a few years ago, like participating in link farms, can actually cause the search engines to ignore your site - but you'll still see sales pages with the promises of tons of traffic and high search engine rankings, outrageous claims, "proof" of their earnings, dozens of testimonials, and no way to know whether it's current or if it still works.

Below are some of the best products that I've found for the information or tools you'll most likely need to be successful. Please note that these are affiliate links - if you purchase through my links I'll get a commission. Does this mean I'm only recommending the things that pay me best? No! These are the products that I have found to be the most useful and that I have bought myself and have used. If you hired me to help with your business, I'd be using these products or the knowlege I received from them.
